Consulting arborists · Assessment & expert reporting

Every tree on your property tells a story. We put it in writing.

W&G provides independent tree risk assessments, health diagnostics, and defensible written reports for homeowners, property managers, and attorneys — the documentation you need before you build, remove, insure, or litigate.

FIG. 01 — WHITE OAK, CROSS-SECTION DROUGHT RING, EST. 2011
ISA Certified Arborist TRAQ — Tree Risk Assessment Qualified Fully insured Court-accepted written reports

What we assess

SECTION 01 / 04

Risk

Tree risk assessment

TRAQ-standard evaluation of failure potential and targets, with clear mitigation options — prune, monitor, or remove — ranked by urgency.

Health

Health & pest diagnostics

Species-level diagnosis of decline, disease, and infestation, with a treatment plan your maintenance crew can execute.

Construction

Construction & preservation

Tree protection plans for permits and builds: root-zone mapping, protective fencing specs, and on-site monitoring through the pour.

Legal

Appraisals & expert testimony

Formal valuation of tree loss and damage, insurance documentation, and expert witness services for disputes.

How an assessment works

SECTION 02 / 04
STEP 1

Site visit

We walk the property with you, measure and photograph every tree of concern, and flag anything that can't wait.

STEP 2

Written report

Within a week you receive a signed report: findings, risk ratings, and recommended actions in plain language.

STEP 3

Follow-through

We review bids from tree crews on your behalf and re-inspect after the work, so the report becomes results.

Why an independent consultant

We don't sell tree work. We sell the truth about your trees.

Tree companies assess for free because the assessment sells the removal. W&G carries no crews and no chippers — our only product is an honest, defensible opinion, which is exactly why insurers, attorneys, and municipalities accept our reports.

"The oak the tree crew condemned is still standing — W&G's report showed it needed a crown reduction, not a removal, and saved us eleven thousand dollars."
